The Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy: British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy(BACP)2002.


Our trained and highly experienced counsellors are ready to work with you and/or your organisation.

IMPACT is a leading local provider of specialist services to a number of private, voluntary and public organisations in South Wales as part of their staff care policy.

Impact Counsellors are all members of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and highly experienced at supporting people through even the most difficult times, helping them get back into work and fully able to get on with their lives. We provide confidential counselling working with individuals to increase personal self awareness to identify and develop their own skills to manage their work/home balance in the most effective way.

Organisations need to maximise performance through a well trained and committed workforce in an increasingly competitive world. At IMPACT we believe in developing strong links with Human Resource and Occupational Health departments through which we provide a range of services to supplement the staff care policies including:-

  • Counselling face to face, telephone and on-line
  • Enabling managers and staff to identify and manage stress
  • Providing conflict resolution in the workplace
  • Supporting managers and individuals to manage conflict
  • Providing support to members of staff in dealing with the aftermath of serious incidents
  • Tailoring training workshops to organisational need

Research from the University of Cambridge shows that organisations which respond to staff by providing good support are more likely to keep an experienced workforce who are well motivated and loyal.
